currency authentication and counterfeit detection capabilities.
General Description
Of The Magner 75 SERIES SUMI/VUMSI
The Magner currency counter-detector
incorporates a friction-feed system that is activated
automatically by sensors when banknotes are placed in
the hopper. With stripper wheels, the system separates
a stack of notes, one at a time, and transports them via
feed rollers past infrared count sensors, where they are
analysed ( sizes, magnetism, transparency of the money
paper, reaction under UV light, infrared) and counted.
The optical features (micro print figures for example)
only detectable with microscopes are not detected with
the Magner machine.
When a suspect banknote feeds the Magner machine the
counting process stops immediately and the machine shows
on its display why the last uncounted banknote got stopped
(magnetism or size not recognized for example) in the
stacker.
The "non recognized" banknote must can then
be checked again with the Magner machine and with a magnifying
glass or better, with a microscope, to check its microprints
(max 0.30 mm sized letters of numbers written and hidden
in the banknote) If the microprints cannot be read perfectly
or distinctly you may consider that banknote as forgery!
However only high ranked bank officials are entitled
to confirm if a suspect banknote is counterfeit or not!
Therefore we always recommend you to call the nearest
police station or any bank officer in case of any doubt.
