MD 5000 GOLD provides rapid and very secure verification of all banknotes that have magnetic codes present in the security thread of Euro and Sterling notes together with other certain currencies. This technology represents the most reliable form of counterfeit detection currently available. It's easy to use and reliable!

- Activate the machine by switching the Alimentation/Battery button towards the jack outlet.
- The MD 5000 is in standby mode, slide the first banknote from left to right or vice versa, and the RED LED signal will appear. Once the first banknote is passed the machine will activate.
All successive banknotes passed from left to right or vice versa, will be read if recognized, with a beep and a GREEN LED signal. If the banknote is not recognized there will be no beep but the RED LED signal will appear.
- If the banknote gives a RED LED signal, to ensure authenticity slide the banknote once more
- MD 5000 GOLD remains activated for 20 seconds after the last banknote has been passed. To verify other banknotes, repeat operation from step 2.
- When battery is low it will not recognize any type of banknote. At every passage of a banknote the red led will appear.
To recharge battery, attach jack to the machine in the ON position for approximately 6 hours. The YELLOW LED will constantly remain lit.
