Features
TD offers the smarter way to count cash.
TD can help with a wide range of tasks; it can automate a manual task and help create cash
management procedures for the user. With TD you can: Verify incoming cash, prepare bank
deposits, remove excess cash from the cash drawer, conduct spot checks, minimise counting
time and time spent rectifying errors.
TD eliminates the human errors which can occur when hand counting, reducing the need to
double check, and ensures bank deposits are correct. It offers a simple solution which can
be learnt quickly, using the voice tutorial for help.
All of these things make life easier and save time. TD releases extra time to complete
other tasks like serving customers, creating employment cost savings or maybe just
allowing you to go home earlier.
Working
Tellermate TD uses a precision measuring sensor based on proven Tellermate technology
which is used by thousands of retailers and banks through out the world. The sensor
provides sophisticated levels of measurement required for money counting as it is
specifically designed for money. TD also learns about the money it counts and can filter
out noise and vibration which might create errors.
On a practical level, Tellermate TD works from Mains power using the adaptor supplied, or
from dry cells - in this case 2 x C batteries.
Accuracy
TD is highly accurate as its core technology has been developed from over 20 years of
experience. The technology used within TD is used by some of the world's largest retail
banks. Tellermate TD is a dedicated money counter unlike some other devices that offer
money counting. Tellermate TD can be considerably more accurate than hand counting;
eliminating human error.
TD also learns about the money it counts to ensure that it is accurate over time, even if
there are small changes in the money.
Reliability
TD was designed to have no moving parts and minimise the number of components. It is based
on the most advanced electronic systems available. TD needs no maintenance. TD should have
a lifespan of 10 years under normal conditions.
